Our story starts just after the Purity War, when a group decided to experiment with people to see how best it is to heal back damaged genes.
They have just now stuck a bunch of people in the abandoned city of Chicago, erasing their memories so they forgot everything of their past lives and have a made up new life.
Their names and history have been changed, they don't even know the city's name.
They just call it home.
And at night, they might wander around the city, looking up at the starry sky and wondering what's happening to their life like any other person would.
